[Closed] FileZilla: log file left behind in portable drive's root

hi guys,

did you ever noticed that there is a log file log.txt always created when filezilla operates? it is left behind when filezilla closes in portable drive's root folder. ex. I have P:\portableApps\filezillaPortable. When I execute it, do something, close it, there is P:\log.txt file created. I like to have a log, but it should remain in app's folder, not in root..

cheers,
Sam

Hi

I saw you already posted about this but it looks like it got missed. Please put a [Bug] at the begining of your post title so it shows up in our Open Bugs Tracker.

Your Settings

If you enable logging, you are responsible for selecting the location of the log. If you do not, it will be created in the root by default. The path you selected will be adjusted as you move PCs.

okay, I see it in filezilla

okay, I see it in filezilla settings now, it didn't occur to me to check it first, thanks for guidance
(note: my portable drive letter changes sometimes, so that's probably why it got reset to root)

Adjusted

That isn't it, as the drive letter is automatically adjusted for you by the launcher.
