Today I wanted to update the commonfiles java to the latest version. I had 53 mb free space on my drive and the java folder was about the same size.
I run the installer but it told be I didn't have enough space to install it. I deleted the java folder inside CommonFiles and I had 123 mb free space. The java installer needs 105 mb so now I could install it.
Shouldn't the installer subtract the installed file size correctly when it does its calculations or does that not work with plugins in non-standard places like CommonFiles?
I'll check into it for the next PA.c Installer update. I think it may not properly calculate space taken and space needed for CommonFiles plugin installers.

I've fixed this in the new PortableApps.com Installer 2.0.9, so it's also fixed in the jPortable 6 Update 27.1 release.

I just came across this with jPortable_6_Update_29 and 37.3 Mb on my drive. And I get the same error.
Can someone try to reproduce this?

This is now fixed properly in the PortableApps.com Installer 3.0.2. I'm going to leave this bug open until the new jPortable 7 Update 4 is live (it's already built and mirrored, just waiting on The Document Foundation to release LibreOffice Portable 3.5.3). That way it won't cause confusion.
UPDATE: jPortable 7 Update 4 is up using the new PA.c Installer. The issue is fixed!
