One hidden file

called autorun.inf in the root. Delete that.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

SunbirdPortable Problem

Love the new interface! Thanks for all the hard work you've done for us!
Anyway onto the problem I'm having: When I open Sunbird Portable, I get the "Welcome Screen", but the application won't start? I didn't have this problem before I installed the PortableApps Suite. And yes I did install the patch. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Desired Upgrades

Portable Apps are great and I like the new Suite, but after using Pstart for a while, I have some suggestions for PortableApps Suite:

1) Capability to put programs in folders. This would help to organize the applications because they don't all have obvious names. Just look at the Applications page on the PortableApps website... thats the way I want to be able to organize my apps in Suite.

2) Make the PortableApps Suite popup menu smaller. This could be helped if (1) is done and if some other things are options, but in general I mean offering another skin that is bare bones. Especially allowing for all of the folder options to be moved to the top and be text and/or icon by option.

Not a complaint, just some thoughts on making a great thing even better. Thank you for portability!

One more upgrade

Let me add one more thing... A way to minimize the Suite without selecting a program. There is only an X to close it.

The Suite behaves like a menu

Click anywhere *not* on the menu itself, and you'll minimize the menu. It doesn't need a button.

I switched back to PStart

After trying this for a while I went back to PStart.

I appreciate the effort that's gone into the application launcher but PStart simply gives me what I'm looking for.

PortableApps Suite 1.0

Ok I'm impressed, no blown away. this used to be like a hobby kind of stuff, I liked the portable firefox, nice to use the same browser at work & home, plus a little more privacy at work using it. Tried OO before didn't have much luck w/ it but now w/ the apps suite on my flash everything works great. These are great applications on thier own, let alone on a flash drive. I find myself using the local apps on the pc's less and less. I really suggest if you are looking for an office productivity suite, donate what you'd pay for one in a store and download this.

Time Stamp

Would it be possible to put a time stamp next to every file version? Version numbers get confused easily, it seems much easier to guess when your last visit to this site was.
