I've had alot of computer problems recently. So, I may have to try reinstalling my XP and start all over. But, I'm trying to pick away at things and see, even if I start all over, that I at least understand where things went haywire.
My specific error on FF Portable is this error that I get when it starts "Illegal Operation Plug In". There was no other info to identify it. I went to extensions and uninstalled the only one there (Duh - I don't even know which one it was), then tryed restarting and get the same thing.
Any ideas what this is? Is it XP doing bad things or is it FF?

Something within Firefox Portable is corrupt. Your best bet is to install a new copy of FFP over your current one. If your FirefoxPortable directory is within your PortableApps directory, just download a new copy of FFP and have it install to your PortableApps directory. Don't worry, all your stuff will be saved.

Thanks so much for the reply. I think it was bad bad file management by my computer. I was trying to use a HighPoint Raid 1520 card on an older Biostar board to try RAID 1 with SATA drives. It caused me nothing but trouble and instability after 3 or 4 XP reinstalls. So, I started all over one more time with IDE drive and left out the HightPoint card, and now it works. Even without reinstall of FFP - I just used by backup that was made before the reinstall. I was having all kinds of weird stuff happen. So, I don't know if the card is a problem or if it is just not that compatible with my system.
