AkelPad Portable + Win 7 64bit

This may be because I already have AkelPad installed as a local app (just via the normal, non-portable download), but can someone else with Win 7 64bit please check if AkelPad Portable actually runs? When I run it, the PortableApps launcher starts, the AkelPad Portable splash screen shows, and AkelPad.exe shows in Task Manager as well, but nothing else happens. No program window appears, no nothing.

If I continue to click the PortableApps launcher, a new AkelPad.exe process begins (so multiple AkelPad.exe processes with only one AkelPadPortable.exe process) - but again, nothing happens. If I close (with Task Manager) each of the AkelPad.exe processes, the launcher closes as well by itself. Normal (non-portable) AkelPad works fine. If someone else with Win7 64bit can get it to work, then it must be something on my PC specifically (I have an odd feeling that the local AkelPad install might be preventing it from working, but I'm not about to un-install AkelPad to test this).

Thanks.

This bug did come up during testing, but I dismissed it as something glitchy with Windows 8's suspended application feature. The true bug seems to lie in the AkelPad 4.7.0 update. As an immediate fix, AkelPad Portable 4.6.5 is available below. Sorry about this.
