I dont know about the discount but I am pretty sure you cant get rid of the PortableApps.com logo.

We don't do any bulk discounts at present. We don't sell versions of this drive without the PortableApps.com logo.
We have the ability to sell custom-branded versions of drives and the PA.c Platform in conjunction with our partner, CustomUSB. I believe the minimum order may be 100 units.

AFAIK, there are really only two things that make this drive unique:
1. The PortableApps logo
2. Pre-loaded with the Platform.
If you don't want the logo, then you can just get any flash drives you want and put the platform on it yourself like people have been doing since the beginning of PA.c.

I think the speed differs as it advertise plus the lifetime warranty. Something that is not included in the regular market.
The actual drives made by PA partner are higher quality than your average off the shelf product, which is why there were sponsors such as "ironkey".
These drives are higher quality than your typical retail drives in terms of build, speed and packaging. They aren't related to IronKey, though. IronKey drives have specific security measures (AES hardware encryption) and tolerances built in that our does not, but IronKey doesn't support USB 3.0, is slower than the PA.c Companion on USB 2.0 ports, and is much more expensive (IronKey is 3x to 5x the price for the same size PA.c Drive).

When I say unique, I mean one-of-a-kind, I mean the things that cannot be bought anywhere else - no other place has the official logo or pre-loaded platform.
You can get high quality USB 3.0 drives in a lot of places.
If you really like the drives at customusb, you can order the same drives without the PortableApps logo, and put your own logo on them. You may need to order a minumum number, but it's possible.
Of course, as I always say, if I'm using PortableApps, I'm proud to display the logo, and give credit to the many years of hard work that JTH and crew have dedicated to creating this excellent system.
