You typically need administrator rights to install a firewall. I don't think a firewall (or network sniffer or real-time anti-malware scanner for that matter) would be appropriate for portabilization.
cuz u3 got hookedup with u3 edition. maybe we can get avast!cleaner PAM edition. no firewall thogh. but A!4.7 home(free) monitors all network activity. just ideas.

Due to my work I have to use my USB stick in a lot of different PC's and have had to restore various times because of virus infection.
