Changing Language in Fiefox 9.01

Hello,

I have the PAP (Portable Apps Platform) 10.0.1 in German language.
Also my OS (Windows 7) is in German language.
And my old portable Firefox (8.x) was also in German language.
For some postings here I changed the language of the PAP to English.

Then the PAP updated Firefox to version 9.0 (auto update).
But now Firefox is displayed in English language.

Is there a way to get Firefox in German language?
Installing it again is not an option, because it took me some time to install and configure some Add-Ons.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings

OLLI

Install Over

Just install a new copy over the old one by manually downloading the German one. All settings are preserved. Firefox only has one language installed with each download, so it's not just a matter of changing it in Options somewhere. We'll have the ability to better handle a situation like this shortly.

Hello John, when you say

Hello John,

when you say "install a new copy over the old one by manually" do you mean to download the portable app and install it via "Apps -> Install a New ApP"?

Greetings

Yup

You can do it via that or just run the installer directly and point it to your FirefoxPortable directory. If you have your platform installed to the default location (X:\PortableApps) the installer will automatically find the right location when you run it.
