So I upgraded my TB portable and then attempt to upgrade Lightning but it will no install. The script stops running. Now I have no access to my calendar. I would like to learn to to make it run, or revert TB 9 whatever back to an earlier version that worked with Lighting. Where are the calendar files? I was thinking if nothing else worked, I would just delete all of it and start over, but I don't want to loose that data.
So after working on it last night at work and at home today, I find I need to input some dates into my calendar at work and try it again, and again, and again. One of my fellow workers stops in the office for a moment. I explain the problem to him and go through the steps so he can see it in inaction. I received the stopped script message clicked on continue as I had before, but this time the message went away and a bar appears at the top reporting that Lightning will start automatically next time I restart TB. Sure enough, it did! My co-worker did nothing but watch, but I give him credit for fixing it!
were not released at the same time when they got updated. Since Lightening is their major one, it was always ready when the next official version of thunderbird came out. When I updated to 9.01, lightening was behind and not checked for with the other add-ons. I did nothing and about 4 hours later it was all good.
Which is weird.
Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.
