I keep deleting my files by accident and I am always making backups but it is getting quite tedious. Is there a portable application such as UnDelete or something similar that restores deleted files.

restoration is brilliant isn't it! One of those things that really should be built into the OS.
Wonder why this isn't incorporated into Linux as an easy to see tool somewhere... too many people don't realise tools like this exist!
