I've come across a case where Language:CheckIFExists requires wildcard support - Caesium Portable. Incidentally, there is also a need with this app for launcher.ini to support unicode characters, as these language file names are saved in unicode.

PAL 3.0 does already have Unicode support; 2.2 won't, I think.
Do you really need wildcards? Aren't environment variables enough?

Nope. The language files are found at App\Caesium\language\??.%UnicodeLocaleName%.qm or ???.%UnicodeLocaleName%.qm
It's those 2-3 digits at the start of the filenames that are the problem.
