Release Notes
0.4.3 DT1 - August 21, 2011: Initial Release.
Awesome, seems absolutely clean.
Here's a regshot, I think most are related to Windows and Avast!, but here goes:
System: Win7 x64, running Avast! AV (free), FF, µTorrent, Miranda IM, TotalCommander, MSN and a few other things.
1st shot taken before installation, 2nd & compare after installation + start of GTD-Free + import of example from GTD-Free server.
Clearly most if not all is AVAST! (which asked to sandbox the program twice before start).
[Changed from blockquote to pre, makes it significantly easier to parse visually - mod Chris]
thank you for your feedback.
So far, I've not seen any issues with this app, but I've not gone through the config files with a even a large-toothed comb.
But the application is nice and I've already started to use it a lot at work. It probably will become a part of my collection.
Ross Kemp here.
What version are you using? 0.4.3 stable or 0.6 testing?
Thanks
That's what it says in the title, and the download link, and the release notes on the main topic.
When 0.6 gets stable, I'll update to that.
Hi!
Just like to say that your software is the first GTD-system I have started with. Great! Looking forward for a stable version of 0.6 and the first release on portable apps.
Regards,
Sir_R
Hi again!
Really looking forward for a new version of GTD-free that handles the saving function to the usb-stick, instead of my profile on windows. Because I also want my wife to use GTD, hell im converting everyone I meet, but right now we will need two different computer accounts.
Regards,
Sir_R
Are you saying that your settings in GTD-Free Portable are being saved to your profile on Windows or just the regular version?
Hi!
I wasn´t using the portable version. I had a friend set up the bat-file so now it is running it perfect from my dropbox folder. Once again. A great program, looking forward for it going 1.0. I am using GTD every day now to get things done in my life. And I am working desperately to make all my friends and co-workers to use it.
When I have time to register I will look through the bugs and request tracker, I think I have some points.
And if I figure out how to do a programtranslation and time I will make a translation into swedish.
High regards to you and your work Pyromaniac,
Sir_R
@Sir_R, if you haven't already seen it, you might want to give TaskUnifier Portable (https://portableapps.com/node/31363) a try but, if you're completely happy with GTD-Free, stick with it. I've just found TU to be much more versatile & robust than GTD-Free & it's very actively developed. It also can sync with Toodledo.com, which has lots of 3rd party apps that can sync with it as well as import/export capabilities. YMMV
P.S. Pyro is also in charge of portablized TaskUnifier...
