Mozilla Crash Reporter

Firefox Portable 3.5.3
When Mozilla Crash Reporter is told to restart Firefox, it restarts it in non-portable mode.

I also have this problem,

I also have this problem, crash -> crash reporter dialog -> Restart Firefox then it open a non-portable Firefox and create Profile, crash reporter for non-portable Firefox in "C:\Documents and Settings\********\Application Data\Mozilla"

Anyone help me solve this problem, thank so much!

I'm using Firefox Portable 6.0.2, do I need to compeletely disable Crash Reporter in application.ini ?

¿AllowMultipleInstances=True? : Dev Use Only, Not Supported.

Is your copy of FireFoxPortable set to allow multiple instances?
(This is set as "AllowMultipleInstances=True" under [FirefoxPortable] in X:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.ini)
If so, Firefox Portable's launcher (FirefoxPortable.exe) does not stay open, thus some non-personal data gets left behind on the machine, and FireFox Restarts will run firefox.exe directly without Portablizing it.

Note: John T Haller states in the forums on a semi-regular basis that FireFox's "AllowMultipleInstances" feature is meant for Developer's only, and is not a supported way to run FireFox, let alone FireFox Portable.

Sorry; Bug; Workaround

I'm sorry, I don't know another simple solution; I guess it could be specific to your Windows or Firefox profile(s), you should check to see if it happens on other computers, or with a clean install of FireFoxPortable (well, mostly clean ;-): you'll need a way to crash it, I think this should work) on your usual computers & others, if this is reliably reproducible with a clean (or mostly clean) profile then this is a Bug and needs fixing, perhaps another member of our community can figure out how to do so; but until it gets fixed, I suggest the following workaround: When the crash-reporter appears, use the "Quit Firefox" button, rather than the "Restart Firefox" button, and manually run it again (after FirefoxPortable.exe has finished it's cleanup, and properly exited.)

The launcher has special

The launcher has special crash detection. This shouldn't be happening unless something with it broke between releases, which I think is unlikely.
