I explain: when I restart the system, I have to exit manually these programs in order for the next boot they start properly. Can you fix it that I don't have to quit them manually at restart and they can start the next time I boot up? I hope you can understand the situation.
You should always quit all portable apps manually.
At least for now, all Portable Apps should be manually closed before rebooting your system - you risk losing settings and data, or potentially corrupting the app itself, if you do not.
John has said that a future release of the platform will handle apps when Windows shuts down, but for now you have to close them manually.
I don't care if I lose data but if I don't close the app it may be corrupted? Hm.
Thanks, anyways, keep up the good work!
Windows shutdowns can be dangerous as some apps simply don't know to close. Even apps that do are sometimes killed early. Even Firefox local installs can have this happen. Losing data from the last time you ran an app may not be a huge deal, but losing everything because your settings or mail store got corrupt is another issue.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
