Portable Thunderbird 13 and 14, released 3/`7/2012 Work just Once

I've routinely used the portable version of Thunderbird from [link to illegal software site removed by mod JTH] - but the latest release is a puzzle I cannot solve. It runs once; the next time I run it, I receive a message that the application is in use. I've checked all the files and it seems that maybe there has been a change in the portable.exe file. Any tips will be appreciated. thanks,

#1 tip...

Use the portable version from this site instead.

Not affiliated

That site is not affiliated with PortableApps.com. The only legal version of Thunderbird is available here: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable

Might want to fix that link, Gord. It should be https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable.

Gah, darn spam blocker

Yeah, I would, but I'm getting hit by the spam blocker when I try to edit it. I'm surprised I was able to post in the first place...that was the 4th time I tried to post to the thread.

OT: John, is there a way to turn off the spam filtering for users, or for user groups? For example, turn it off for Devs and long-time users?
