Google Chrome Beta Announcements
We're considering switching Google Chrome Beta announcements to be a single announcement at the start of each beta and ditching the announcement for each beta point release. The rationale is that the beta channel seems to be moving to daily updates which can't really be considered a 'stable' release anymore. So, much like the Dev channel, we'd still be updating to each version (occasionally skipping a day when there are too many updates) and just pushing them out via the PortableApps.com Platform's Updater and having them for direct download from the Google Chrome Portable homepage. Any thoughts?

I think thats a good move. Otherwise the workload and noise on the news page would be unjustifiably high. Other than that, there is no need to mention google chrome every 2 days in the release tracker - too much publicity
Case in point: 18.0.1025.117
Case in point, .117 was just release, so it's been posted to the Google Chrome Portable homepage and is being pushed out in the app store / updater. Google is now turning features on and off in the Beta channel with each release to gauge performance and stability, which definitely strikes me as more of a Dev / Alpha channel thing to do.
Daily Releases
We've confirmed that the Google Chrome Beta channel is now doing daily releases and is using the process to turn features on and off to determine stability and functionality. As such, it can no longer be considered a 'stable' app. So, we'll only be announcing the first beta of each major version on the homepage and in the news feed. Today .133 release has been pushed out to platform users and is now on the Google Chrome Portable homepage.
