Comments
Silent Update
Should have "Silent Update" disabled by default in Skype settings
It Is
It is disabled within the portable version because the updater is not included. The indicator within Skype itself is wrong, though, as it is a machine-wide setting that only checks for an admin-only registry key to be set.
Upgrade Notification
Because I "always" get an Upgrade Notification, is there a workaround so I won't see this ?
Nope
Our version is up to date, so it should not appear. And our version has NO updater included in it. So any update notification you see would be from the local machine if it has Skype installed.
