Apps for U3 from portableApps.com

Currently U3 has firefox 1.5 from portableApps.com. I was wondering if there is going to be a release of firefox 2.0 specifically made ofr U3 since they don't allow open access to their application files like portableApps UI.

Working on it

The license display had to be reworked for U3, hence the delay. It's being sent for recertification tomorrow.

In progress

The certification is still in progress. You can always use Firefox Portable 2.0 in the meantime which works from any drive (including U3 ones).

Universal

No. I mean Firefox Portable, on which the U3-only version has always been based, is already available as a 2.0 version. It's a universal portable app, meaning that it runs from any drive (USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, etc) in any location (even from your desktop) on any Windows operating system (Windows 98 through Vista). It works with any menu (PortableApps Menu, PStart, ASuite, etc). It just won't show up in your U3 menu. (Though there are a couple unofficial utilities for that)
