SIW (System Information for Windows) Portable
I try to download, from inside "PortableApps.com Platform 10.0.1".
I have no old version of SIW (System Information for Windows) Portable.
The download from the portableapps.com website work.
Error message = The downloaded copy of SIW Portable is not valid and can not be installed. This could be due to an incomplete download or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete.

you could give more information? What is occurring when you try? Any details? Have you tried downloading it directly?

Originally,
with Pre-Release 3,
SIW had seemed to dowload fine
(although I had never actually gotten round to opening it).
Recently,
after upgrading to Platform 10, &
updating numerous apps,
SIW was the only one that could not download properly.
I got the exact same error message as SST [above].
Repeated attempts to update it produced the same results.
Finally,
I removed it, & tried to download it again from scratch.
Again:
exact same error message [as above].

The publisher silently updated it to the new PA.c Installer without letting us know. So the MD5 did not match.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
