Persistence of SSL certificates for internal sites

Does anyone have issues with persistence of SSL certificates imported into portable Firefox for use with internal sites (to not need to accept certificates each time visit internal site)?

I notice it doesn't seem to persist compared to regular FF installation, or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I installed our organizations certificate via URL download of certificate and portable FF10 brings up prompt about install certificate and I check the 3 boxes to trust the certificate and click OK. Exit FF and on next visit of internal site, it still prompts warning to accept certificate even though I installed certificate.

I also have FF3.6 installed on same PC (not portable), and that works fine after doing same certificate install process. It doesn't prompt me to accept certificates on visit internal site.

My portable FF10 is stored on same hard drive as the installed FF3.6.

is it in the cert store?

but did you check if the cert is really in the right place in the cert store of the portable FF?

Can you really find the right cert there?
Do you may be need some additional root cert for your company cert?

persistence of ssl

He is right, the cerfiticate isn't permanently stored. I see this with my local webserver for which I created a SSL certificate. It works fine but the prompt of "untrusted connection" always appears, which is a little annoying...

do you have the root?

did you store the root cert to the cert in question in the root cert storage?
