SMPlayer and conf file in home directory

Hi,
I am trying to set up SMPlayer to watch TV, and I would have to create a file called ~/.mplayer/channels.conf.

As SMPlayerPortableApps doesn't read that directory, where would I have to put that conf file? Additional information, I am on Windows.

Thanks a lot,
jr

Not sure...

but I suppose "SMPlayerPortable\Data\smplayer".
I tried adding stuff to the TV and radio menu's, which is normally what channels.conf should contain. But no file was created/modified, that I know of. It remembers the thing I add to it, so it must be saved somewhere. You can also simply add the info that is inside that file by using the graphical user interface. (like Open>TV>Edit...)

Yes, I set the working directory!

Thanks Bennie, this is what I

Thanks Bennie, this is what I thought. Manual added info ends up in tv.m3u8, so far so good.
But at SMPlayer startup the file channels.conf should be read and stored in tv.m3u8, which is not what happens.

I read something on their forums...

I read something on their forums about that file:(search for "(2009-06-25)")

The changelog is kinda old, google didn't give me any other results, but maybe the stuff said into the topic is still up to date.
