GnuCash 2.4.10-1

Before I try to find a PC to install the regular version to test it is anybody else having the same trouble as me?

I can add new transactions in existing accounts but anything requiring a new window, e.g. Edit Account, Edit Scheduled Transaction and New Account doesn't work - the window doesn't display but a pressed-button appears on the task bar, clicking on it does nothing.

Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

From what you describe I

From what you describe I would say the new windows are drawing off-screen.

Have you used it on a PC with a larger resolution display, and now the issues you are seeing are on a smaller resolution display?

If this is what is happening, the easiest way to fix it on Win7 is to make sure the window is focused (press the taskbar button for another window, then press the taskbar button for that window) then hold the Windows key and press the left or right arrow until you see the window.

Thanks winterblood

That's exactly what happened. I had completely forgotten that this copy of GnuCash had been tried on a PC with a dual monitor setup.
