We'd like a bit of external testing of this before releasing it a month or two ago, so here it is. (Upon me only is the blame for the delay; John and Aluísio are wholly blameless.)
Download the PortableApps.com Launcher 2.2 Release Candidate 2 [1MB download / 3MB installed]

Note that this is not based upon what I posted earlier as 2.2 Beta 1 seven months ago (yes, it was really that long ago); that has been rebranded as 3.0 and a beta of it will be released shortly (please feel no compulsion to believe me, but I'll try to surprise you; it's ready to release right now but I want you to test this one first so I'm not intending to release 3.0 Beta 1 until 2.2 is out).
Updates:
2.2rc2: fix UNC warning, update branding
Now does the 3.0 comes with a built in Development Toolkit? hope it is. now time to try this out.
PADT is not featuring in the 3.0 plans for core inclusion; it's got quite a lot of work still to be done on it. It will only become the standard way of using PAL when it's ready and is necessary (when the build process is managed by it).

I get the UNC warning when running a test build of uTorrent Portable from my desktop directory ( C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\uTorrentPortable ). Built with this test of PAL, current NSISu, and uTorrent being released today.
UPDATE: As kalug has pointed out, this is fixed in Hg. We should get another RC build out. And can you guys add in the new sidebar graphic from the PA.c Installer please?

By the way, have we decided on the default for [Launch]:SupportsUNC yet?

I shifted it on the file release system after uploading it, it seems to have lost it (it occasionally does that, it would automatically fix it after an hour or so, I think). I've tried removing and uploading it again, wait a bit if necessary and see if that works.

downloads appropriately now

There is an extra EXE in the root (PortableApps.comLauncher.exe) likely a result of accidentally running the directory through PAL (which is inappropriate due to it not using a launcher).

Clicky Gone is using 2.2 RC2. Please put it through the paces for the new bits.

CrystalDiskInfo is now using PAL 2.2 RC2. Please ensure it is working with UNC paths for you!

It seems to work fine here.
PS: CrystalDiskInfo's Portuguese language is actually Brazilian Portuguese. Can you update the installer.ini accordingly?

I've been using this for all updated apps lately, and it appears to be release worthy. A few minor issues need fixing, though:
1. Extra EXE in the root directory
2. Headers are blank during generation of the launcher when launched from the command line
3. Manual references a few unimplemented things like PAL:DrivePath and PAL:LastDrivePath.
4. Manual needs updated graphics (from any current app's help files)
Anything else you can think of?
