I've just downloaded FirefoxPortable_13.0_English.paf and install it on a folder on my desktop. I launched FirefoxPortable and then, i closed it. And it left an empty folder here.
C:\Users\Asus\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox
What can be the problem?
I'm using Windows 7 64bit. And I have never installed normal non-portable firefox.

I had noticed this previously, but when I deleted the offending folder to verify and re-ran FFP, that folder isn't recreated on my machine. However, I do have a Mozilla folder persisting in %APPDATA%.
I've just realised that it had left folder in %APPDATA%. I deleted it and it is not re-created any more. Yet, "AppData\Local\Mozilla" is still re-creating.

But this effect is NOT on FF 12.x.y, which I downloaded here. After updating to vers 13.0.1 at Mozilla.org it is the same. And these folders are not even empty!

This is known and applies to all new mozilla packages, Thunderbird, Seamonkey included
