Tried downloading on two separate computers using two different browsers. The install file LibreOfficePortable_3.5.5_MultilingualNormal.paf.exe is corrupted.

Probably the mirror you get redirected to has a corrupted copy. As the mirror is chosen based on your location, trying from another computer won't help you.
Go to http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/portable/3.5.5/LibreO... and choose a mirror from the "List of best mirrors..."
Do not choose the first one on the list, because that is the one you are having problems with.
