PAPF: PortableApps.com portable Platform by Fabio
Make ANY application portable with a single click!
I joined three Open Source softwares:
- PortableApps.com Platform
- JauntePE
- Run95
And guess what came out? A platform that automatically portabilizes any application without modifying Win registry or local Hard Disk, only your pendrive.
It's still a WIP, so it may be buggy, but still interesting to try.

How to install an application portably (anything, even non-portable):
Install PAPF and run it, click "Run portably..." and pick the installer. DONE!
Your program should now be installed on your pendrive and run portably.

Do you have permission to redistribute the freeware component, or does the freeware component specifically allow repackaging and/or redistribution?
If not, please remove your link as it is illegal to redistribute or repackage freeware apps without prior permission.
I think yes, but I will disable the link and double check the licenses...
EDIT: I checked all the licenses and discovered that even Run95 is Open Source and not only Freeware...
I just don't understand the Sysinternal: Junction license (this software is used to create links on the pendrive during installation process), it says I cannot transfer license to other users, but actually when it is executed it shows a message reporting: Do you accept Sysinternals License Terms? This means that the user has to accept the license manually.

When I looked at the Run95 site myself I didn't see the link for the source, thinking that must have been the closed-source component.
Looking at the Sysinternals site all of their software has the following restriction:
You may not ... publish the software for others to copy;
That is the one that will stop you without express permission.
Hum... you are right... For Run95, there is a README.TXT file in a zip archive, you find a link there and you can get the source code from that link.
About Sysinternals: I will remove it but I have to find an alternative, I absolutely need symlinks to make this platform work... Do you know any free/open alternative?

Couldn't you just make up a bat file with the necessary commands (mlink or mklink or something similar from memory)?
Actually that's what Junction serves for... mlink, mklinks and alternatives are not installed by default on WinXP and previuos, and many users still have WinXP on their PC.
