Installers update

Excuse me Johm, could you update the KompozZer and Fotografix installers?
Both softwares don't get updates for a long time but many people need the new installer with default installation path.
It seems a strange request but I assure you it's for an important accessibility cause.
I hope in your reply, so thanks a lot in advance.

Owen Mars.

What Cause?

They will get an update at some point, but it's not critical at the moment. What accessibility cause do you mean?

Dear John I'm pushing

Dear John I'm pushing PortableApps in a lot of schools and Institutes. Most blinds beginners say that automatic path selection is a gift with some screen reader. Then, other people with other deseases said me that new installer is very fast, so very easy.
I understand that this kind of problem seems stupid for normal persons like me, like you, but I assure that this is an important cause.
KompoZer and Photografix are often used by them, but in another way. The first for create accessible documents, the second to convert particular images to send to braille devices.
These patients need any help, at the same time I understand when you say "it's not critical at the moment".
I hope in your help, then depends on you.
Thanks anyway for your tima.

Better Paths

If all the portable apps on a given computer are installed to X:\PortableApps (where X is any drive letter) every installer will automatically find that path, including KompoZer and PhotoGraphix. That makes things easier for everyone.

Stay tuned for a screen reader accessibility update to our platform this week as well.
