Best Portable Software for Library Usage?

I currently visit my local library on a fairly regular basis and was curious what software you would recommend? Im going to use Portable Firefox, but thats about the extent of my knowledge. Im thinking I might need a proxy as fantasy sports sites seemed to be blocked. Do I need some sort of spyware/antivirus? Any software that may remove any cookies/temp files? All help is greatly appreciated.

Anything you want

You can run anything you want from the drive. Nothing would somehow be more appropriate to a library. If you use Firefox Portable, all your cookies and temp files are self-contained on your device, they are NOT stored on the local PC (that's the whole point of a portable app). So, there's no need to clear them.

If they block sports sites, etc they probably do that at the network level. Nothing you bring on your drive will help with that. Unless you tunnel out through a proxy.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Try using a web-based proxy

Try using a web-based proxy to access sites which the library blocks. Something like proxy.org or grab.cc would probably work.
