make thunderbird portable default client under any circunstance

make thunderbird portable default client under any circunstance

I try many times TB portable to be the email default client, but under IE or Firefox don't go and appear Microsoft Outlook.

How can I do this ?
In the windows registry perhaps ?

It's in the settings...

Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Always Check to see if Thunderbird is he Default mail client on startup (in the middle) although, if you are running this from a USB, it is not advised if you do not have the USB connected 24/7/365
