logoAIMP Portable 3.10.1074 Rev 3 has been released. AIMP is a customizable music player, music library, internet radio player and audio converter. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. AIMP is freeware for personal and business use.

AIMP is packaged with permission from the publisher

Revisions: We switched playlists to default to using relative paths as this made more sense portably. In Rev 3, we added the ability for secondary launches so it can be associated with files.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

Thanks for your work on this Devin. I updated it to the latest release and added portablization of paths to all the config files as well as a new custom portablization routine allowing it to portable relative paths as well as drive letters (really handy for cloud drive folks that sync to multiple PCs), which is something the base app can't do. I also switched from using the custom path handling in the INI to allowing the user to pick their paths in the app and having the launcher portablize them as they move around. More users will be able to use it that way.

You'll find you're now listed on the team page and now have a Dev blog you can use to post about upcoming projects and the like. Thanks again and welcome to the dev team! Smile

Just a quick revision to switch playlists to relative paths so they work as you move PCs by default. Didn't want folks getting caught with the wrong setting who hadn't looked at it.

It is really nice to see AIMP making it into the PA.com realm ^_^ Thanks to Devin, John and the whole PA.com team

I have been a huge fan of AIMP for quite a while now. It's nice to see an official portable version here!

Thanks Devin, John and team

It amazes me that on the internet you can be anything you want, and yet so many people still choose to be idiots.

I downloaded an older version of this player from the portablefreeware site. V.3.00 Build 981. It is portable too, but I would like to shift to the portableapps version without losing any of my settings or library. How can I do that? Thanks

I'm not completely sure, but the help file says that AIMP's non PA.c portable setting, stores settings and such in %AIMP3%\Profile\*.*. So I think you could just copy that folder to AIMPPortable\Data\Profile.

Hope this helps!

by the way, thanks for the release PA.c, John, and Devin! Love it! Nice work!

We made another quick revision to allow the app to be launched more than once, which is handy for file associations. Our apologies for the original version not working properly with them.

A few more things are portablized, like any paths you enter into any settings. And things are portablized in relation to AIMP Portable, not just the drive letter. AIMP itself in portable mode can handle your app and music being on a drive. But, AIMP Portable can handle you app and music being in a cloud drive directory that differs as it syncs between computers.

when using the AIMPPortable.exe launcher, explorer refreshes.
this is verry annoing as my music directory has many files.
i always have to scroll again and again.

this is not funny
