When I ran ChecksumControlPortable, an error message box popps up, says "The request entry was not found. Please check if it is present in the Filename C:\User\***\AppData\Local\Checksum Control...." and stuff about section and ident of request.
This error occurred in 64 bit Win7SP1, but works fine in 32 bit Win7SP1. New install into non-system drive download folder.

I've ocnfirmed this issue, and I'm working on a fix.

I believe I fixed this bug this morning, I'm verifying on a clean VM tomorrow, and will send you a build at that time.
Send it to me with the info on the fix (where it didn't work before, why it does now) and I may be able to test and post today.

This was fixed in Checksum Control Portable 2.2 Rev 2 released on September 19, 2012. This bug just had not been marked as fixed until now.

HI there,
I just downloaded the latest Checksum from portable apps and installed ona 64 gig usb flashdrive running on a win 7 64 bit PC with english as the default language.
That error is still coming up.
The versoin info in the file Appinfo.ini with a date of 18/09/2012 shows:
[Version]
PackageVersion=2.2.0.1
DisplayVersion=2.2 Rev 2
When I look in the ChecksumControl directory there is a file checksumcontrol-german.nls. should there be a -english.nls file as well?
If you need any more info please ask.
If you're having an error, it's not the same. 2.2 Rev 2 works just fine on Windows 7 x64 (I'm running it right now).
Please create a new bug report with details like fresh install vs upgrade, full install path, anything unique about your Windows install, exact error message, etc.
