Is there a plan for a portable openoffice 2.1?

That is in English (I noticed there is a German version already).

No

Even though I've been working on OpenOffice.org Portable for over 2 years, I'm suddenly going to stop and not do 2.1.

BTW, that's sarcasm Smile

Say it with me

It's ready, when it's ready.
It's ready, when it's ready.

I don't do estimates anymore. Issues sometimes arise that require multiple releases. A beta will be out this week.

Will the link be posted here?

When the beta is ready, will the link be posted here, in the beta section of the forums, or on the Open Office application page?

Thanks,

Scott

pyUNO bridge

I understand some components are removed to save disk space.
Nevertheless, I'm using Bibus and it seem to require the pyUNO bridge commonly removed from WriterPortable.
Is there a way to have it included in forthcoming releases of OpenOffice.orgPortable (at least as an option for advanced users)?

Hi xdriftdoll,
I tried to download your unofficial 2.1.0 but it appears the link is bad. Could you verify this, and correct if possible? Smile

vulnerability of OpenOffice to WMF flaw need OO2.1 urgently

Have just read that OpenOffice 2.0 is susceptible to viruses through WMF. this really requires us to get OO2.1 which has been patched, asap.
Hopefully, you can respond John T.

Turkish Open Office 2.1

there is a Turkish portable OO2.1, and this is in it's official web site.. for Turkish users:

http://www.openoffice.org.tr/component/option,com_docman/task,doc_downlo...

and may be, someone can change the language for themselves. i don't know if it's possible..

a human never fails but stop trying...
