Lua warning when using backup mirror mode on 3.1 PR 11

When I try to backup my USB in mirror mode(actually, I haven't tried it in other modes), it keeps giving me an error, with the title 'wxWidgets Debug Alert':

..\..\src\common\arrstr.cpp(369): assert "nIndex

It seems to run fine after that if I select Cancel or No.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'll take a look at this, how many folders have you added and have you chosen any options? Also is this just when you click run?

I've chosen my entire USB

I've chosen my entire USB Drive, about 60,000 files and 13,000 folders. Total it's about 2.5GB. The options I have are mirror mode, 7-zip format, and default compression level. This error also happens in PR 12.

Thanks for looking into it.

Edit: It also gives me this error when I run it in command line mode.

Edit2:It doesn't give the error when I run it on a smaller subset of my drive.

The same happens with me, is there any solution yet? Also do you know if it actually has an effect if i want to use the back up? Thanks for your help!

That's something that annoys

That's something that annoys me too and that's the one I have the next in the list for fixing for 3.1.2. It's completely harmless as far as I have tested, all the files are being included just fine.

I've nailed it down to being caused by just one item being added into the backup selection list (like the whole USB drive, I also use that one sometimes), but haven't looked further yet.

I'll post it here when solved, you can also watch this bug. Right now I'm sorting out the permissions and everything for me to be able to properly release new versions on PA site, right after that I'll be looking into that bug.

Just in case you haven't had

Just in case you haven't had a chance to see the 3.1.2 release notes - this bug is fixed there, feel free to try and report back.
