PChat, ssl, blowfish?

i am new to portable apps and in my toolkit i'm putting together thanks to this awesome website, one of the things i need is an irc client that supports ssl and blowfish and while i haven't tried PChat yet i am wondering if this is possible? being able to connect using ssl and blowfish on a different computer without either installed? i apologize for my ignorance but i am very new to all of this and my enthusiasm makes me in a hurry to learn more. on an other website has a description for PChat saying it does have ssl support for the portable version so if anyone can let me know about blowfish and maybe just an overall experience of how well it works it would be appreciated. OR if there's a different client other than PChat i should look into for my needs, please, by all means suggest it and Thanks for any help.
