Your personal Meteo Station
RealMeteo Portable is the RealMeteo whatever it is packaged with a PortableApps.com launcher as a portable app, so you can build your own Automated Meteo Station on your iPod, USB flash drive, portable hard drive, etc. It has all the same features as RealMeteo, plus, it leaves no personal information behind on the machine you run it on, so you can take it with you wherever you go. RealMeteo is a friendly realtime interface that shows weather images. Is easy to build a public meteo point, useful in Hotels, commercials, holidays, roads, communities places or where you want. Realmeteo has a wide database of weather satellite images link. Many different places can be displayed in RealMeteo graphical interface.
NOTE: First time that you use it, RealMeteo run in demo mode and show only static pictures, only to check internet database connection. Then you have to sign-up on REGISTER area and get automatically unlock code (RealMeteo serial is related to USB Disk Serial Number), to enable RealMeteo, that will display real time pictures, meteo forecast, satellites, webcams and more resources related at weather.

It says i am missing a couple of OCX and you need admin rights to open the file.. once it open it automatically closes and tried to reboot the system..Once i click thru the OCX errors it wont show them to me again

Apps that use OCX files generally need to have the OCX files installed at the system level, which means they can't be considered portable. We had to retire an app from our app directory for this reason (it was missed in initial testing). If you discover a way to get around this issue, please share it

we have resolved the ocx registration.
Now OCX non need registration, and local OCX are used for.
I like that app is tested and approved for.
New version is in same location:

If app will meet requirements, we are happy to share the simple way to avoid registration, using local folder ocx.

I'll test this once the hurricane issues are resolved.
I am concerned with what you mentioned in another thread about it being somehow tied to a USB serial number. We don't have any apps that do this that I know of and I'm not really sure about adding them. We're debating it for commercial apps at some point (as well as how we'd list them since they'd break under cloud drives as they are copied from one drive to another), but I'm hesitant to allow a freeware app with it (as it seems completely unnecessary).
