Isn't Jportable compacted??

Hi, yesterday i tried to compacte the Jportable application, the whole Common files folder, with Portableapps compactor, and i found that it can be compacted to almost the half of his size (68MB instead on 125MB).
I thought it wouldn't work after the compaction, so i tried to use it instead of the original one and it seems to work good!!

Are there any reason not to compact it? maybe in the next releases Wink
Just a feedback to this great community!

Licensing

jPortable is done via a live online installer that downloads Java on the fly as you install it. We can't repackage, compact and redistribute it due to licensing reasons.

Oh, it's an aspect i forgot to consider, sorry.
But...does this mean that i can compact it myself?
Is there any kind of problem in using it after the compression?

Don't Know

As we don't AppCompact it and then test it, I'm not sure. It should work in theory. So, you're welcome to try it out and report back. Smile

Ok, i'll report here if i find any problem with it.
The main hitch is that i only use one program that require java at the moment (it's not in the portableapps suite) ...
If someone have other suggestions about how to check the functionalities of "compressed java" please let me know.

Thanks
