Jarte Portable 4.5 has been released. Jarte is a lightweight, tabbed word processor based on the WordPad engine included with Windows. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. Jarte is freeware for business and personal use.

It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Thanks for your work on this Patrick. I made some additions including correct placement of the Data directory (moving it back and forth) and advanced path portablization. Jarte itself portablizes relative to drive letter. Jarte Portable portablizes relative paths all the way to the PortableApps base directory (Start.exe) or equivalent, which means it will portablize on cloud drives between PCs, too.
