I've installed some apps of my own which seem to work fine as portable like BulletProof FTP Server. However the folder contains many exe files and all of these exe files become listed in the Portable Apps Menu. Is there a way to make them not show in the Menu?
This feature is not available yet, however John will include it in a future release.

cool, it will be useful. Also creating folders in the Menu will be good so that apps can be grouped in categories.
That too will be included in a future release

when is the new release planned for?
It's not. As John said:
Say it with me:
It will be done when it's done.

It will be done when it's done.

New version please - where you can change icon, rename apps in menu and delete. Like in Pstart application.
Then will be PortableApps Base the best menu for USB.
