Closing PortableApps Menu

When the menu is open on my screen I see an "X" on the bottom of the menu presumably for closing it? When I click on the "X" nothing happens. The only way I can close the menu is to open Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete) and terminate the menu. Is this the way I am supposed to close the menu? Should something be working so that the "X" works? Everything else seems to work fine except upgrades are very slow and you need much patience.

I installed the update

I installed the update v1.0.1.2 of portableappsmenu.exe and that make the "X" work now. However the menu is quite a bit smaller. Is there anyway to fix that?

That's how big it's supposed to be

That's how big it's supposed to be. Sounds like you're using 120dpi which causes oddball display issues on the original release (it was originally set to be scalable... which it shouldn't be).

Make "X" box bigger?

John-
If you made the "X" exit button bigger, wouldn't the original apps menu work with 120dpi?

Nope

It totally falls down flat on its face. Visual defects. The background only covers part of it. The icons are all misaligned. Basically, it's a mess. Granted, 120dpi distorts just about every BMP and ICON shown on the screen scaled anyway.... but the menu is MUCH worse.
