anybody else has same problem? whenever i try to update
past few days (today is dec09), libre offc gets stuck
at 16% - always and exactly there.

I had the same problem an hour ago, but it seems to work now

The publisher maintains their own mirror network, since this is the official portable version of LibreOffice. When run through the updater, it attempts to select the best mirror for you. If it's failing, you can select your own mirror. Please let us know which mirror was failing for you so we can remove it from rotation.

john, i am doing the update automatically from your frontend, so where could i see which mirror i use? any chance to include some function, if ANY update gets stuck for more than 30+ seconds, to switch to another mirror?

The download components don't support it. Download it via Firefox and you'll be assigned the same mirror and can let us know what's up.
