I recently purchased the USB drive with both Libre Office and supposedly Java installed. I assumed that plugging this into a Compaq computer running Windows 7 w/o any java installed would work. I did this so I could do some database work on somebody elses computer w/o having to load they're computer with files and information that they don't know where it came from or what to do with it It appears it works okay on 32bit and 64 bit computers w/Java already installed. I checked the "properties file" for the database I'm trying to use and there 3 versions of Java listed and the next two boxes below the "ADD" box I donm't know what they mean.
When I try to run the database an error message comes up saying "Java file is corrupted, missing or wrong version".

Remove the version of java and LibreOffice from the drive. I can't imagine what drive this software sould come with but anyways...
Install The Portableapps Platform onto the drive.
Then download everything you want . Then install the apps onto the drive.
That's it!

I purchased the "Worlds Best Flash Drive with a full suite of portable software" 8Gb. I thought this included everything I needed.
You need to install jPortable from the Portable App Directory within the Apps submenu. Java is not included by default.
