Whenever I try to open the portable.exe (which is the CCleaner Portable Launcher) I get an error message and nothing else happens not even a blank window... Help!
This is what the error message says:
Registring: CCHelper.ocx Failed!
What is the problem?
I am using Windows XP Pro under a limited account.

guessing you dont have the privileges to register dll's owell why would u want to use ccleaner? on another pc to clean it up? if ure using portable firefox (i use opera portable) then no traces are left behind

The reason I use Portable Apps is because I am only the keeper of a school laptop and I can't install things. Plus I am a well prepared person. Plus I use lots and lots of apps (regular and portable) And I like to keep stuff in tip-top shape.

google ophcrack liveCD, download the ISO, burn it to a CD and boot it
enjoy, you now have the administrator password
as for ccleaner portable: you have to open it with portable.exe
