Are there any plans to have a custom tray icon for the platform.
I would like a Black and White one Windows 7 style.

OK where is it?
To Jacob, I think crookadile is wanting to be able to have an alternate colour for the icon in the notification area. At present it is the standard PA.c white curved arrow in a grey circle.
I have asked for this before (as has he). I wish to be able to differentiate between my wife's and mine when we are sharing a computer, and between our portable drive menu and the one on the local drive (I know you can hover the mouse pointer over the icon and read the drive it's on, but having distinctive colours makes it easier).

We'll eventually have a customizable one with some predetermined styles. The default one will be changing to better fit Windows 7 in an upcoming release. The design should be finalized this weekend.

We are now in January 2013.
The current 12.0 Beta has a modern style icon that fits in quite nicely with Windows 7 and Windows 8. Customizable tray icons is much lower on the priority list than lots of other features based on interest level.
