Hi,
I have read the topics about Adobe Flash Player Portable on this forums. From Adobe's official site we can download two different executables: Flash for IE and Flash for other browsers.
As I understand, except IE, all browsers reads the Flash Player from same directory. I mean they are using the same Flash Player. Chrome Portable comes with Flash Player. That means if Firefox Portable can read these files, Firefox will be able to use Flash Player too (as portable). But because Firefox and Chrome are portable, Firefox can not find Chrome Portable's Flash files.
So... Can someone please tell me which files uses Chrome Portable to open Flash Player? I will make a very simple bat (script file) which copies these files inside Firefox Portable's Data directory automatically. So I will have always the latest version of Flash for Firefox Portable each time I will run this script file.
I have read the PORTABILITY NOTE here https://portableapps.com/node/15501 but there is nothing to do
Please give me the Chrome's Flash Player files and where to copy them inside Firefox. Waiting for your help..
Thank you
It should be at the following location below. Note that the version number may be different for your installation. Warning: I have also not tested this. Copying and pasting this should work, but I can not guarantee anything for you.
[X]:\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\App\Chrome-bin\24.0.1312.52\PepperFlash
Additionally, I would like to let you know that Adobe flash files can not be legally distributed from any origin other than Adobe. I can only give you the location where you can find the files yourself. This is copyright law.
Guessing from the pathname, that will likely be the PPAPI Flash, which Firefox doesn't support. I don't know if Google still ships a NPAPI Flash.
Previously known as kAlug.
I try it. It did not work

someone has explain how to use adobe portable. But I could not understand how he make it.
Adobe's official site has change the installer as "online installer". I found this official link to download "offline isnatller":
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
rejzor (the person on the link) has extract all the files of this executable inside FirefoxPortable/Data/plugins folder. But it should not work!? It is really so simple?
there seem to be some problems with the recent versions of flash.

there are number of people trying this and that, in some cases it works in some it crashes.
Note that now adobe installs versions for x64 and 32bit.
So for the portable installation youshould pick the 32bit version of the dll. (other things are not needed)
The simple way is to install flash locally and copy files from there, but one can use also the zip file from adobe archive where all older versions are kept.

Which zip file do you mean exactly? I downloaded from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html these files:
Download EXE Installer
Download MSI Installer
I open them as archive with Peazip. But there are many files here. I don't know which one to copy exactly.
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.ht...
here are some archives with zip files.
Then oyu have to unpack them and look for the relevant files.
What are the relevant files?
in fact the most important is the .dll
the exact name depends on the version, but it can look like:
NPSWF32_11_5_502_135.dll
but please read all the comments in the thread:
https://portableapps.com/node/34230
, as there is currently a problem with flash and firefox.
