dotNETInspector 1.41, location of files?

dotNETInspector 1.41, location of files?

Hi,

I have just downloaded your dotNETInspector 1.41.

Upon running it, it gave me a window that says it found:
.NetFramework 2.0 Sp2,
.NetFramework 3.0 Sp2,
and .NetFramework 3.5 Sp1.

My problem is that none of these show up in my "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features" under Windows 7HE x64!

Aren't they supposed to be listed there??
If they ARE installed, how do I remove one or more of them that I don't need or want??

Hi, I am the developer of dotNETInspector so I can answer that for you.

.NET 3.5 sp1 is embedded in all releases of Windows 7, and cannot be uninstalled. Both .NET 2.0 sp2 and 3.0 sp2 are installed as part of 3.5 sp1, and are required by it to function so they can't be uninstalled from your system either.

Because they are all embedded components they will not show up in Control Panel.
