After reinstalling my OS this is the message i get after running portable Firefox. Is there any way to successfully get it running, or at least what files can i grab and copy to a fresh Firefox portable installation? I need bookmarks, history, cookies, sessions, forms, plugins, and everything i had from before. I would hate to start from scratch...

Copy a portable install to a portable one?
Or copy a local install into a portable one?
To copy a portable install into a portable one, just copy the FirefoxPortable/Data folder. Most of your profile should work.

yes copy a portable into a portable. Tried that but didnt work. Actually the previous portable was nightly and it has slightly different structure, but i did copy all of that data from the profile folder...
If the folder structure is different, you will have to copy the files one by one into the right place. I havent done that before so I dont know if it will work.

You could try using a 3rd party program to backup the profile from the first portable and then restore it into the second portable.
I'd suggest http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
ps: as (to the best of my knowledge) PortableApps don't do a nightly version of Firefox, maybe you could get better help from whomever made it?
