When I try to rename pictures using the EXIF info, some pictures are renamed correctly, other pictures are wrong - i.e., the last modified date is used instead.
Am I doing something wrong or it is just a bug in the software?

I can't tell for sure (I don't use it myself), but I would say it is either a bug in Ant or an issue with whatever software/firmware created the EXIF data in the first place.
Can you confirm that the EXIF data was created by the same app/device, or that it is all tagged correctly with another program before using Ant?

All the pictures were taken with my iphone, so they are similar and they show the correct "Date taken" attribute on Win7...
But some of them do not get renamed appropriately.
I would assume that being from the same device the EXIF data would be consistent (whether consistently correct or consistently incorrect) so you should have seen similar results across the board.
I would guess this to be an issue with Ant Renamer itself, thus it would best be reported to them. For all we know it may already be a known issue.
