Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0 Beta

The beta version of Mozilla Thunderbird is available for download, please make it portable soon, since I wanna use the tagging features in 2.0. And the current Alpha Portable is highly unstable.

Please...

...Do not put request for updated software in the forums.

It is very annoying. John is updated from Mozilla as soon as there is a new version of any of their software. He will update it as soon as he gets to it.

This is one of the most common posts here, and unfortunately one of the most annoying.

Terribly sorry.

Just an impulse. I'll acknowledge this.

Just install Thunderbird 2.0 and download the portable version and replace the files in the portable version with the ones you installed from the beta and recompile. simple as that

What do ye mean by recompile.

Even though I am a computer wiz ( actually I am just an expert of computer security and how to make it less of a pain in the neck) I tried to replace the files with the ones from the beta. But what do you mean by recompile. I am not gonna learn NSIS. Could you just tell me how.

Uhmm

Just download nsis from nsis.sf.net and also their plugins will be needed too but you may want to wait until their site is up. I just went to the site to search the plugins you'd need and I got an error 404 page from sf.net

Actually

No need to recompile. Get TB, and copy all the files in the installation directory into App\Thunderbird
