Warzone 2100 is an open source real-time strategy game similar to Command and Conquer packaged as a portable app, so you can play on the go. This release updates Warzone 2100 to the latest version. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

If the app is crashing, please try the locally installed version to ensure it's not an issue with our package.

If it is the system, something is wrong with your system as apps cannot crash a modern Windows OS without a bug in the underlying OS. Typically, this is due to a bug in the display driver. Ensure you are upgraded to the latest display driver. Note that some notebooks will only have outdated and buggy display drivers available, so a fix may not be available.

locally installed you mean the full version? i was hoping i could use this portable 1 and play it anywhere...

You can, but in order to diagnose this bug, it would help to try out the locally installed one to confirm that it is indeed an issue with your graphics card. Or just upgrade your graphics driver.

Portable apps can't protect you from an unstable Windows system or bad drivers. They can protect your apps and data somewhat from them, though.
