Lightning calendar has disappeared from Thunderbird

Yesterday, I had Thunderbird Portable open and had a functioning calendar and task list (I'd added the Lightning extension some time back). This morning, started up TBP and no calendar or task list to be seen. I'd like to know why this has happened; but, more than that, I'd like to know how to restore my existing calendar and task entries (i.e. the ones that have disappeared).

reinstall

I would make a backup of your profile first (just in case) and simply reinstall lightning and see if the calendar data is found.

otherwise check if lightning is still present in the list of extensions and if it is still active. Otherwise update extensions and make lightning active again.

Can't find Lightning

I can no longer find the Lightning add-on in the list of available Portable Apps; so, how do I reinstall it?

Here

Here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/lightning/

We never hosted or packaged it. We just linked there.

Lightning download

I thought I had seen it on PortableApps.com in the past; but, I guess that was not the case. Thanks for the link. I've got it working.
